Visit of the President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe Liliane Maury Pasquier addresses Georgian lawmakers

The PACE President continues her official visit in Georgia. Liliane Maury Pasquier will meet with the President of Georgia and the Prime Minister today. She will also take part in a ceremonial event dedicated to the 20th anniversary of Georgia"s membership in the Council of Europe, which will be held in Parliament. Prime Minister, President and Chairman of Parliament will also welcome guests. The delegation will leave Tbilisi today.
The President of the Assembly will address the event participants. Yesterday the President of the Assembly was hosted at the official dinner. Former Georgian Dream MP Eka Beselia speaks about Liliane Maury Pasquier`s support and says that she received the invitation from the president personally.
"I am especially grateful and by the way I received her invitation before the invitation of the Georgian side was delivered. First I received the invitation from the President"s personal office, which is very important emphasis of the support we received from the President of the Assembly, "Eka Beselia said.
The Vice-Speaker of the Parliament of Georgia responded to Eka Beselia"s statements. According to Tamar Chugoshvili, guests were invited to the dinner at her decision.
