Tbilisi Mayor appreciates the statement of the US State Department. According to Kakha Kaladze, the United States positively assesses the steps taken by Georgia to strengthen democracy and the judicial reform.

He added that the challenges facing the country will be definitely resolved.

“The main thing in this statement was that they appreciated the reform that was implemented in the judiciary, the steps we have taken in terms of democracy, which I think is very important. It ones again confirms that Georgia enjoys a great support from the international partners. They give a real assessment to the recent developments in our country.

Of course, there are some challenges, but we will do our best to respond to these challenges with dignity.
