Minister of Internal Affairs Vakhtang Gomelauri arrived in Marneuli quarantine zone and got acquainted with the ongoing works aimed at elimination and prevention of new coronavirus on the territory of the municipality.

The Minister visited police checkpoints, had a conversation with police officers on the ground and representatives of the military forces and received information on recent situation and ongoing activities.

Gomelauri attended monitoring process of the quarantine perimeter with drones owned by the Emergency Management Service.

He also visited the field hospital arranged by Emergency Situations Management Service in Marneuli, aimed for 100 patients. Gomelauri received detailed information on the condition of infrastructure and ongoing activities.
