Zviad Kvachantiradze, a Chairman of the Committee of Issues of Diaspora and Caucasus comments on Sergey Lavrov"s visit to occupied Abkhazia. According to him, " those people, who are in Russian political elite have no idea about history of Georgian State."

"Lavrov"s visit to Abkhazia was not only a provocation, but a wrong political move against Georgia from Russia, which only proves that Russia is unable to perceive reality correctly.

The ruling party has once again called on Russia not to violate internationally accepted norms.

"We once again call on the Russian Federation to stop the policy of annexation of Abkhazia and the Tskhinvali region and respect the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Georgia,"- said Sopho Katsarava, a chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee.
