One of the main issues at the meeting of occupied Abkhazia"s so-called president -Raul Khajimba and Russian Foreign minister- Sergey Lavrov was reinforcement of the so-called borders . They focused on Abkahia"s recognition by international society and dual citizenship.
" Opening of Embassy is a proof how Russian- Abkhazian relations are built. We have the whole range of issues, which will be discussed today. This applies to our bilateral relations, the border issues, as well as making it easier for population to have dual citizenship,"- said Rauk Khajimba,so-called president of occupied Abkhazia.

Russian Foreign Minister focused on importance of opening the embassy and international relations.

"It is important that we discuss the issue of implementation of the agreement signed between you and Vladimir Putin. Also is important to discuss the issues that you have discussed. These are border issue and also the fact that all citizens should feel equal,"- said Sergey Lavrov.
