At this moment a reception to commemorate 25th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Georgia and Romania is being held in Bucharest . The event is attended by the Prime Ministers of Romania and Georgia, members of the Governments of two countries and representatives of the diplomatic corps.

Prime Ministers addressed the guests with a special speech. The heads of governments emphasized the need to deepen the friendly relations between the two countries and talked about plans that will bring Georgia and Romania closer in the future. Prior to that Giorgi Kvirikashvili had another meeting with the Romanian president.

"Our countries are connected by the Black Sea region and we have common challenges. But we have to use existing opportunities, "Giorgi Kvirikashvili said.

Romania"s prime minister, Sorin Grindenau, said Romania supports Georgia`s European integration and welcomes the country`s steps towards reforms.
