The Chairman of the Parliament talked about political and economic issues, as well as the issue of electoral system, at the meeting with the representatives of the private sector. Irakli Kobakhidze said that according to the decision of the ruling party the Parliament will switch to the proportional electoral system.

"The decision has been made to replace existing mixed system with proportional system. You know that this proportional system has its elements. One element is that the institute of blocs is banned , which has its solid foundation, " - Kobakhidze said.

We remind you that the Chairman of the Parliament of Georgia is meeting with businessmen at this moment. This is the first meeting that Irakli Kobakhidze is holding with private sector representatives. The main topic of the meeting is the constitutional amendments and legislative initiatives planned in economic direction.
