Scandalous letter fromChechen terrorist to "Rustavi 2" how he was helped by Akhmed Chataev released by the Georgian authorities

The "Curier" received a scandalous letter from the lawyer of Chechen terrorist Magomed Ibrahimov from Austria. One of the well-known attorneys in Austria, Wolfgan Blasky, writes to "Rustavi 2", that Akhmed Chataev released by the Georgian government helped his client to take up the terrorism path.

Akhmed Chataev, about whom the Austrian lawyer writes in the letter, was detained in 2012 by the former government for illegal possession of arms after Lapankuri Special Operation, but after the change of power, Bidzina Ivanishvili`s team released him from prison and after that he left Georgia.

The ruling party rejects the responsibility for the release of the world famous terrorist Archil Kbilashvili, former chief prosecutor, refrains from commenting. The parliamentary opposition says that by releasing Akhmed Chataev the government fulfilled orders of Moscow in 2012.

The Ombudsman has most of the questions about Akhmed Chataev and Lapankuri special operation with the Chief Prosecutor"s Office.

Lapankuri special operation was carried out by the end of August 2012, when Georgian special services neutralized a 17-member armed group. As a result of the operation, three Georgian law enforcers were killed. Three men managed to escape from the group of terrorists, one of whom was Akhmed Chataev, who was later arrested, and the other was Magomed Ibrahimov, who is now detained in Austria and gives testimony.

The Austrian media does not exclude that Ibrahimov might reveal a number of scandalous topics.
