Despite several hours of discussion and different positions, the agreement on constitutional amendments has been reached.

At the meeting of the Prime Minister and the parliamentary majority representatives, it was decided that the next parliamentary elections will be held again with mixed system, but the 5% threshold for the parties will be reduced to 3%.

The rule of direct presidential elections in 2018 will remain unchanged. When the country will move to the proportional system, "Georgian Dream" says that consultations on this topic will continue.
