Law on eavesdropping - Constitutional Court should consider suit of 326 citizens

The Constitutional Court should consider the suit of 326 citizens of Georgia today. The President of Georgia also appeals to the Constitutional Court. However, his suit has not been delivered yet. The suit refers to the law on secret eavesdropping .

The meeting is underway at this moment. The Plenum members do not have unified position. Four judges have e different positions regarding the transfer of the case to the plenum . In their opinion, the question on which the court has already had a hearing should not be considered.

The NGOs do not understand why the law has been transferred to the plenum, as the main content of the norms of the complaint have not changed.
