Minister of Internal Affairs held a meeting which lasted nearly for three hours. After the meeting, representatives of the ruling team have stated that the main topics of discussion was the case of Azeri journalist kidnapped from Tbilisi.

However, remains unknown what information was provided by the Interior Minister"s team.

Archil Talakvadze did not exclude that the Interior Minister may answer the questions of opposition in the parliament. As Talakvadze says, Giorgi Mgebrishvili is not going to avoid questions.

"I think the opposition creates negative sentiments. I can tell you that at this meeting personally I had the impression that the Interior Minister does not really avoid meeting with other formats, "said Archil Talakvadze.

The Interior Minister did not comment on the issue. Giorgi Mgebrishvili left the office of the Georgian Dream together with several representatives of the ruling team from the back door.

Koba Narchemashvili refrained from speaking about the details of the meeting but reiterated that he does not support creation of an investigative commission in the Parliament on the case of Afgan Mukhtarly.
