Rustavi 2 was criticized during the session of the Board of Trustees of the Public Broadcaster today. Irina Putkaradze, member of the Georgian Public Broadcasting Board, blames Rustavi 2 for misinterpreting of closure of " Radio Liberty"s programs

At the end of the meeting, the board member noted that Rustavi 2 shows as if there is only a small amount of people at GPB who opposes closure of these programs.

"Our door is always open for all TV companies, including Rustavi 2 and they should not spread the false information,"- said Irina Putkaradze.

Ketevan Mskhiladze, member of the Board of Trustees of the Public Broadcaster, speaks about the necessity of broadcasting of Radio Liberty"s programs and notes that their format corresponds to the essence of the Public Broadcaster.

Grigol Gogelia, the chairman of the Board does not see political motives in closing the programs.
