Leaders of the parliamentary majority clarify the reasons for maintaining majoritarian elections and say that the consensus could not be reached in the ruling team regarding the transition to the proportional system. According to them, the majority decided to reduce the barrier to 3% .

"We believe that other parties will be able o to participate in the elections as well as the barrier will be only 3% .
I understand why this opposition party is irritated, which is in the parliament now. They don"t want to have rivals in next elections ,"- Archil Talakvadze said.
