The parliamentary majority criticized Giorgi Margvelashvili and noted that the president has vetoed the code for political motives.

"The veto, which represents a very important constitutional instrument in the hands of the president, has become an instrument of political struggle in this particular case, "said Davit Matikashvili, Deputy Chairman of the Parliamentary Legal Issues Committee.

The parliamentary opposition criticized the majority because of their statements.
