Putin"s visit to Abkhazia - Opposition states that authorities should intensify pressure on Russia

The ruling team think that the aim of the visit of Russian President to occupied Abkhazia is to win the heart of people living in the region.

According to the document signed yesterday, in the nearest future, the population of the occupied Abkhazia will be involved in the unified Russian health system, and by 2019 the Russian government will assist the occupation regime with an additional 6 billion rubles, which is nearly $ 100 million.

Dimitri Tskitishvili, deputy chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee of the Parliament thinks that sooner or later the occupied regions will realize that Russia is alone.

"It"s Putin"s compulsory step , because it is obvious that Russia loses its authority in the population of Abkhazia and naturally offers signs of some strengthening, but in the end I think it"s inevitable that the population will see that Russia is alone," - Said Dimitri Tskitishvili.

Akaki Minashvili, a member of the Coordinating Council of United National Movement states that the Georgian government should do everything possible to continue pressure on Russia after the visit of Vice President Mike Pence.

"Instead of letting the Georgian government continue its diplomatic activity against Russia, on the contrary, we have received a tone of tensions to Russia after the visit of the Vice President of the Georgian Government to the Russian Federation," Akaki Minashvili said.

Zurab Tchiaberashvili, a member of the parliamentary faction "European Georgia - Regions", says that the policy of concession to Russia will not have result and the Kremlin will continues to fulfill its goals.
