The chairperson of the Democratic Movement - United Georgia, Nino Burjanadze, visited the Hero Square in connection with the 25th anniversary of the start of hostilities in Abkhazia. She laid a wreath on the memorial of the fallen soldiers who died in the fight for unity of Georgia.

"First of all I want to bow down to all the dead and their families and thank everyone who has raised their children so that they become heroes of their homeland. At the same time, I want to call on everybody, everything should be done so that such a tragedy never repeats and we have to do everything possible to fulfill that dream, for which these boys fought. Unite this country, " - Nino Burjanadze said.
