Political fraud -for part of non-parliamentary opposition no - threshold system is unacceptable

Part of the non-parliamentary opposition opposes the introduction of the no - threshold system. According to media reports, the ruling team plans to cut the barrier to one percent at the 2020 parliamentary elections.

Tamar Kordzaia, political secretary of the "Republican Party of Georgia" suggests that the ruling party will not be able to discuss and implement this idea within the team.

"The no - threshold system makes no sense if we do have a majoritarian system. This is still deceiving of people people, because in this system the Georgian Dream still has the opportunity to gain a full majority, which the entire political spectrum is against, "- said Tamar Kordzaia.

Bachuki Kardava, chairperson of the "National Democratic Party of Georgia" calls the spread information a political fraud.

Executive secretary of "Free Democrats" Levan Samushia does not rule out that "Georgian Dream" plans to introduce satellite parties to overcome one percent of the threshold.

Shalva Natelashvili, chairperson of the Labor Party, compared the no - threshold
system to the "Commission for Democracy" and contradicts its implementation.

Tomorrow at 12:00 the majority will offer the opposition the date for holding a meeting.
