The President of Georgia will name the exact date of self-government elections today.

The Counter-Assignment of the Prime Minister is also needed for confirmation of the date of elections. The official act will be issued 60 days before the elections, or by the end of August, after which the election campaign will begin officially.

At the same time, the CEC shall mention the parties participating in the elections in order to apply to the CEC chairperson for the next 3 days after appointment of the election day.
