Beka Basilaia on extradition of Saakashvili

The lawyers of the third president of Georgia respond to the new request of extradition sent to Ukraine by the Prosecutor`s Office.

According to lawyers, the prosecution`s new request for extradition of Mikheil Saakashvili is only playing with words and is contrary to the first two requests.

"The reason that was named is absurd , as the case against Mikheil Saakashvili has been running for two years already and now they woke up and remembered it ?" - said Beka Basilaia.

Attorneys think that the activation of this topic is connected with the decision of Mikheil Saakashvili to return to Ukraine on September 10.

Beka Basilaia once again points out that once again the request of extradition is based on the interests of Poroshenko-Ivanishvili and it has nothing to do with legal action.
