Replaced mayoral candidate and supporters`protesters - police mobilized at "Georgian Dream" office

"Georgian Dream" replaced the mayoral candidate in Marneuli. Instead of Amiran Giorgadze, Teimuraz Abazov will run from the ruling team. The Georgian Dream`s decision was protested by Giorgadze`s supporters late last night. The police were mobilized on the ground.

Later consultations were held at the party`s main office, but after a three-hour discussion, most of the participants did not want to comment.

The chairman of the faction "Georgian Dream" made a clarification after the closed meeting.

Mamuka Mdinaradze confirmed that Teimuraz Abazov will fight for Marneuli Mayor position from "Georgian Dream", as for former candidate Amiran Giorgadze, he will be the first in the list for Municipal council.
