"Democratic Movement" Accuses Republican Party of Implementing Purposeful Propaganda against the Orthodox Church

"Democratic Movement" opposes "Republican Party". According to Nino Burjanadze, the Republican Party carries out a purposeful propaganda against the Orthodox Church. She speaks about an election ad, where Republicans talk about Russian influence in the Patriarchate.

"Who gave the right to run such propaganda which is directly directed against the Georgian Orthodox Church ... Where is the Georgian society? Why is not the voice of the Georgian society heard?" - said Nino Burjanadze.

According to Khatuna Samnidze, chairman of the Republican Party of Georgia, Nino Burjanadze has received the assignment from the Patriarchate, confirming that there are Russian influences in the institution.
