Locals do not let the " RMG Gold" trucks to work on the Tandzia- Chitareti road. The protest rally started in the morning.

The population protests building new, open quarries, which, according to them, will lead to the ecological disaster in the territory, where the situation is grave enough in this regard.

"We will not stop until we are convinced that they will suspend their work. And we will not talk to those representatives of the company, who were here yesterday. They mocked us. They asked who told us that this kills people immediately " Not immediately, but over time,"- says Vepkhvia Gvaladze, the rally participant.

The protesters call on inhabitants of Dedoplis Tskaro to join the rally. According to them, the representative of the gold mining company offered them jobs and compensations in exchange for the termination of protest.
