Former Minister of Infrastructure Zurab Alavidze made a statement several minutes ago regarding the interrogation at the Chief Prosecutor"s Office.

According to him, the questions were related to the tenders and procurement.

"The questions were related to companies and procurement winning in the tenders before my appointment and in the following period. I provided the investigation with complete and comprehensive information available to me.

"As you know, there is an investigation and if there are additional questions, I am ready to answer the questions," said Alavidze.

Zurab Alavidze and Dimitri Kumsishvili were questioned at the Prosecutor"s Office for embezzlement.
