"There are so many lies and so many rumors that I"m bored and I"m going to fight against it with other methods," said Malkhaz Machalikashvili, the father of Temirlan Machalakashvili at the rally in Pankisi.

Pankisi population has two main demands. The local population protests against construction of the HPP in the gorge and the main demand is the objective and timely investigation of the case of Temirlan Machalikashvili.

The population of Pankisi says that they have been demanding a meeting with government officials for a long time, but in vain.

"We have been asking to meet with the representatives of the authorities,tp solve the issue at a round table but in vain," said Musa Pankiseli.

Another local resident Shengel Tokoshashvili says that the competent authorities of the government should cooperate with the population.
