The same regulation will be applied to consumption of marijuana as in case of tobacco . With the decision of the Constitutional Court, consumption of marijuana will not be considered as administrative offense but consumption should not take place in public space and at the cost of health of others.

"The Constitutional Court noted that the right of consumption of marijuana is the right to be protected by the constitution and the right of free development guaranteed by Article 16 of the Constitution protects the right of a person to use marijuana drugs. It can be consumed in educational, childcare and transportation means where the possibility of damage to a third person is high, "said the Constitutional Court Chief Advisor of the Department Giorgi Lomtadze.
