"Journalists and TV staff are defenseless today and the authorities" and government any damage will be responsible for any damage inflicted to them," the Rustavi 2 General Director responded to the attack on the journalist and cameraman of the broadcasting company.

Nika Gvaramia has imposed responsibility on the incident  at the special briefing. He demanded the prosecution and the Interior Ministry to punish the culprits.

According to Nika Gvaramia, the Chairman of Parliament should conduct a special briefing and condemn violence.

Journalist Eka Gagua and cameraman Levan Kalandia, who were reporting on the violations revealed during the construction of the new railway, were physically assaulted by the representatives ofbureau office N 23 of the Chinese Railway.
