Hearing of Giorgi Chelidze"s case from the movement "National Unity" has been ceased due to protests by the lawyers at the City Court today. Thirteen attorneys of the defendant left the hall.

The accused and his defenders accuse the judge of being biased and claim that he gave remarks to the lawyers on false grounds.

The lawyers" decision to leave the court was preceded by a judge"s decision to impose a fine on lawyers for insulting the court. Lawyers demand to start a disciplinary prosecution against a judge.
Law enforcers detained Giorgi Chelidze for illegal purchase and keeping of firearms and ammunition.
