Members of the opposition, who were injured during the confrontation in Akhalkalaki, were visited in the clinic today by Levan Bezhashvili. All three injured have brain concussion, fracture of facial bones and a traumatic brain injury.

The United Opposition demands punishment of those doctors who did not take provide appropriate treatment to the patients and discharged them home, after which their condition got worse and transportation to Tbilisi was needed.

"We are asking the Prosecutor"s Office to stop the MP immunity and carry out the fast investigation of the case. We see that the government does not step back, the government is violent and there should be some institution in the country that will create a balance in respect with this government disorder. If the investigation is interested in the objective and operative investigation of the case, one of the investigators should have come and conduct investigative activities, essentially asking the doctors whether it was possible to question the victims, "said Levan Bezhashvili.

Melik Rasyan, father of one of the victims, also speaks about the situation in Akhalkalaki and the condition of the victims.

"When boys were discharged from the hospital, their condition in the house deteriorated significantly. They started shaking and we called emergency help. The doctors did not take care of them. They were surprised, how they got out of the hospital, when some had 6 and some 7 injuries. I can not tell you much, Akhalkalaki has always been a politically motivated region, "said Melik Raisian, father of one of the victims.
