The United Opposition"s presidential candidate Grigol Vashadze and other leaders of the union met with the representatives of the ODIHR.

The presidential candidate informed the representatives of the international observer mission about the incident in Akhalkalaki. The conversation also referred to violations created during the first round of elections and pre-election environment of the second round.

"We had a very useful meeting with the head of the ODIHR mission. We talked about the violations that took place in the first round, attempts to rig the elections for which the so called Georgian Dream is preparing in the second round. We expressed our concern that international organizations and observation missions have not paid due attention to our supporters who are hardly beaten in Akhalkalaki, Marneuli, Kaspi, Tbilisi, "Grigol Vashadze said.

The presidential candidate hopes that the representatives of the monitoring mission will focus on the quality of the second round of elections.
