A part of military units against the presidential candidate, backed by the government. They state that the candidate who accuses Georgia of starting a war in 2008 should not become the president of the country. Hundreds of soldiers are already involved in the campaign. They publicly express their position.
Part of them has gathered at the Zaza Damemia"s tomb in Ozurgeti. They have once again explained why Salome Zuraboishvili"s candidacy is unacceptable for them.

"We join the appeal of the General Devi Tchankotadze and declare that we will not choose the traitor Salome Zurabishvili as the commander of the armed forces," said Senior Lieutenant Zurab Jibuti.
