The third sector demands investigation of the possible bribing of voters. It is the coordinators of "Georgian Dream" who go from door to door and tell citizens that their bank debts are covered.
The Executive Director of Transparency International - Georgia says that the organization has been provided with information from the citizens. According to Eka Gigauri, this is a bribe of voters.
"We also had several cases where citizens were provided with similar information and it seems that such a thing is happening and it is therefore very important that the investigative authorities and relevant authorities react to this. It is obvious that this has impact on our voters and, of course, the election results, "- Eka Gigauri said.
The Executive Director of the International Society for Fair Elections and Democracy (ISFED) demands immediate launching of the investigation into the facts. Mikheil Benidze declares that the investigation should be conducted so that subsequent sanctions have the effect on the elections.
