The Republican Party express solidarity with the United Opposition"s rally but they do not share the form of rally, which is why they do not intend to join the rally.
The members of the party today visited the United Opposition"s headquarters and once again confirmed that they share their demands. Khatuna Samnidze, the chairperson of the Republican Party of Georgia, says she shares the opinion of the United Opposition that the election system is to be fundamentally changed.
"We are solidarity with them in these demands, the main theme is the election environment, electoral procedures, electoral system, which is to be fundamentally changed, we support these initiatives and will support them in the future. The United Opposition meets its supporters and of course we also express solidarity with these people, the united opposition, including the demands that will be voiced. But we will not be present at the rally itself, "- Khatuna Samnidze said.
The United Opposition plans to hold a massive protest rally tomorrow at 15:00 on Rustaveli Avenue.
