The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia responds to the accusations of the Muslim community"s spiritual leader.

Mirtag Asadov does not rule out that his government was behind his detention. According to Asadov, after the detention in Baku, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia has not shown an interest in the case.
According to Vladimir Constantinid, after the arrest of Miratag Asadov, the Foreign Ministry is fully involved in the process.

According to him, the consul visited as a detainee as well as his family members.

A Muslim leader who was frequently criticized by the authorities was detained on November 7 for minor hooliganism and was taken to Baku. Asidov plans to appeal the incident in Strasbourg.
