The possible use of fraudulent ID cards - The Prosecutor"s Office has launched an investigation. A Head of Lanchkhuti office of UNM was summoned for interrogation.
Mikheil Sarkvealdze, the First Deputy Minister of Justice of Georgia explains that the laminated IDs were printed a long time ago and they belong to deceased persons and none of the data on the ID cards was recorded in the voter lists.
"According to the information available to us, all the IDs that were discovered were issued many years earlier and belonged to the deceased persons. The most important thing is that these data were not included in the voter list.This is absolutely enough to make important conclusions, "said Sarjveladze.
