"Many things need to be improved,"- Ruling party responds to U.S. State Department"s scathing assessment

The Georgian Dream party responded to the U.S. State Department"s concerns over violations revealed in Georgia"s presidential election.
The party, which now holds a parliamentary majority, stated that the number of complaints were not significant.
Members of the ruling party also said, that they are ready to work on certain issues in the future to further improve the electoral process.
The party admits that political culture in Georgia is far from the international standard.
"It is a sign, of course, that the political culture needs to be improved. The political culture that Georgia has today is far from the international standard" said Gia Volski.
Officials went on to explain that if there are questions from the international community, they are ready to offer higher standards.
"If this fails the international standard, we can talk about improving the electoral environment" - says Dimitri Tskitishvili .
