The elected president of Georgia is surprised by the acute assessment of the US and international observers concerning the violations revealed during the elections.

Salome Zourabichvili made a brief comment to journalists and noted that the State Department has not expressed concern.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia responded to the statements made at the NATO Ministerial as well. Davit Zalkaliani was also surprised by the critical assessments of the elections.

"The Parliament also reiterated that we will take into the account all the recommendations made by the observation mission," Davit Zalkaliani said.
