The inauguration of the president- elect of Georgia will be held in the courtyard of the King Erekle Palace in Telavi. Preparations for December 16 have already started in Telavi.
The members of the organizational committee of the ceremony and representatives of the presidential administration have arrived in Kakheti. They will agree on specific locations and on the format of inauguration.
Guram Chokhishvili, director of the King Erekle Palace, spoke about it with "Courier". He confirmed that the event will be held in the palace
."There were already representatives who selected places, but did not specify which place they chose. Exhibition halls and storage facilities inside the museum will not be used for the inauguration"- Guram Chokhishvili.
