"I think one fund should exist" - deputy finance minister on canceling of president"s reserve fund

The issue of abolishing the President"s Reserve Fund remains open. According to the Deputy Minister of Finance, consultations on the issue are underway with the newly elected president of Georgia.
According to Giorgi Kakauridze, there is no need for two reserve funds in the country. He states that the option, which will be reflected in the 20019 budget, is already agreed with the newly elected president.
"In general, two funds in international practice cannot be found, there is always one fund and I think we should have one fund as well. I think the issue will be agreed with the president, which will ultimately be reflected in the budget, "- Giorgi Kakauridze said
