The noise at Velistsikhe - law enforcers blocked the movement of the opposition"s column and did not allow them to move to Telavi.
The column was heading from Gurjaani to Telavi, where large-scale rally is planned.
The representatives of the opposition were also met by a group of people who verbally abused them. However, according to opposition representatives, the law enforcers did not try to defuse the controversy.
The opposition says that this group is the people who opposed Mikheil Saakashvili"s brother David Saakashvili before the second round of the presidential election.
Members of the United Opposition call on law enforcers to open the way and allow them to move. They say that they are waiting for other columns and will go to Telavi Center together.
The confrontation between the law enforcers and the opposition members has also occurred at Chumlak where the road was blocked with buses and the movement was not allowed to Telavi.
