An unprecedented case in the history of the country - so constitutionalists evaluate the inauguration of fifth president Salome Zourabichvili.
The case concerns the oath. The constitutionalists say that Salome Zourabichvili made a vow on the Constitution so that she did not withdraw her mandate, which is a violation of the law.
According to the regulations, the future president was obliged to address the legislative body to terminate the authority and had the opportunity to do so after the end of the second round.
"Today we have the President of Georgia, who is at the same time the first deputy chairperson of Diaspora and Caucasus Issues Committee of the Parliament of Georgia which is a violation of the constitution, "said Constitutionalist Levan Alapishvili.
