Interior Minister is going to Parliament - opposition is preparing for debates

The Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia will visit the Parliament today. Legislators are preparing for debates.
The recent developments in the country, the confrontation in Velistsikhe, the detention of Davit Kirkitadze, the kidnapping of Afgan Mukhtarli and the possible falsification of elections - this is a small part of issues that will be voiced by the opposition.
"The Ministry of Internal Affairs and its leadership is directly a mirror and the face of today"s government and it reflects all the vicious sides and crimes that have occurred in Georgia in recent years, even in the form of fraudulent elections, "said Roman Gotsiridze, a UNM member.
MPs are also interested in why Giorgi Gakharia himself was actively involved in the election process and what was his mission during the pre-election period in Samegrelo.
"We will definitely ask questions to the minister about elections. Several cases of fraudulent elections were witnessed by our population on live broadcast. We also saw the criminal world that was in the alliance with the government and the role of the Interior Minister is very important here, "- said Otar Kakhidze.
One more acute issue that the legislators are planning to discuss is murder on Khorava Street.
Debates will start at 12:00 in the parliament. The ruling team says that the visit to the parliament is a good gesture by the Minister of Internal Affairs. According to the members of the parliamentary majority, Giorgi Gakharia is ready to answer any questions.
