The MP mandate of Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili will be officially stopped today. The decision was made at the sitting of the Parliamentary Procedural Issues Committee.
The MPs will vote for the issue at the extraordinary session. The President will no longer have immunity from as MP.
"The Procedural Committee is preparing the relevant project, which will be submitted to the Parliament of Georgia and the Parliament of Georgia will terminate her MP mandate ," said Mamuka Mdinaradze, chairman of the faction "Georgian Dream".
