A resolution on the issue, why the recommendations of a Temporary Investigation Commission are not implemented has failed at the sitting of the Committee of Legal Issues.

Sergi Kapanadze, the Chairman of the temporary investigative commission is an author of the document. According to him, despite the fact that today the legislators failed the resolution, the issue will still be discussed on a plenary session.

Kapanadze said that the recommendations of the Commission are not implemented. Sergi Kapanadze said at the committee sitting that the Parliament should ask the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Chief Prosecutor"s Office to submit a report on the implementation of the main recommendations.

The resolution was not supported by the parliamentary majority. According to the members of the ruling team, the recommendations outlined in the document are also provided by the Georgian Dream"s resolution. Accordingly, the parliamentary majority deputies do not see the necessity of adopting a resolution prepared by the parliamentary minority.
