Prolongation of limitation period for investigation of grave crimes -discussion on Gamsakhurdia"s Case in Parliament

One of the main topics of today"s meeting is the prolongation of the limitation period for investigation of grave crimes -discussion of the amendment to the Criminal Code is underway in the legislative body. The amendment envisages prolonging investigation of the case of the first president of Georgia. The opposition is skeptical about the novelty and is convinced that the real investigation of the incident will not happen.
At the same time, Konstantine and Tsotne Gamsakhurdia will meet with the General Prosecutor to discuss the same case today.
