The Prime Minister, Mamuka Bakhtadze speaks about the need to investigate the violations revealed during the presidential elections. Bakhtadze said at a special briefing that there were a number of violations observed by investigative agencies.The Prime Minister criticized the opponents of the violations recorded during the election and noted that the part of the evidence they had presented is not true. For example, Mamuka Bakhtadze named the video footage broadcasted on "Rustavi 2" which shows how the ballot papers are thrown in the ballot box.
"When there is some information about the possible violations, it should be placed in the legal framework and investigation into this issue should be initiated. However, what I read, one of these comic episodes took place at one of the precincts, when they spoke about the number of stuffed ballots which in reality was not true. Therefore, we once again deal with disinformation, "- the Prime Minister said.
The CEC chairperson Tamar Zhvania made a statement several days ago regarding the ballot stuffing and said that after the resignation of the staff she addressed the prosecutor"s office with the purpose of launching the inquiry
