Levan Murusidze is a lifelong judge. One of the most scandalous figures of the judiciary, the judge who is well known with accusations and complaints against him is elected by the Supreme Council of Justice.

An interview which lasted for two hours ended with secret ballot. 11 out of 14 members voted for Murusidze. Ana Dolidze, Irma Gelashvili and Nazi Janezashvili have not supported the scandalous judge.

Levan Murusidze was convincing the court for two hours today that he deserved to wear the mantle. Questions were mostly asked by non-judge members. Their colleagues had no questions to Murusidze.

Levan Murusidze repeated several times that he is a leader of judges and has good reputation in court. However, categorically denies that the system is ruled by the so-called clan headed by him and Mikhail Chinchaladze.

Levan Murusidze blamed media, NGO sector and politicians in discrediting his name.
