Aka Beselia leaves a position of chairperson of the Legal Issues Committee of the Parliament.
The decision of the oldest member of the "Georgian Dream" split the ruling team into two camps. According to Eka Beselia,she resigned only after leaving Vano Zardiashvili on the post of chairman of the committee.
Zardiashvili did not give any explanation for his resignation. Eka Beselia appointed the committee meeting to appoint the new deputy, where the team members opposed each other.

Gedevan Popkhadze, who was presented as a deputy by Eka Beselia , defended the rights of Beselia most actively. His appointment led to a new controversy. It was revealed that Beselia had not agreed her resignation or Popkhadze"s appointment with team members.
