Opposition supports the demand of the NGO sector to restructure the High Council of Justice. Nevertheless, the opponents of the government doubt that the ruling team will agree to this offer.
According to the opposition members, until the authorities do not change, the situation in the judiciary will not be improved.
"Under this government it is impossible to think about serious reforms in the court and new members who will be better than the old ones. Accordingly, government change is needed that will bring legislative initiatives, which will lead to a change in the court, "- Sergo Ratiani, a member of the European Georgia said.
According to opposition representatives, Georgian Dream will not allow to go against Bidzina Ivanishvili"s will and therefore the members of the High Council of Justice will not leave.
"I welcome this proposal by the NGOs, but I can not say that it is impossible , "Nika Melia, chairman of the National Movement"s political council said.
