"Ungrounded statements that put under question financial stability of the bank damage the banking sector of Georgia" - "Bank of Georgia"

Bank of Georgia responds to Davit Chichinadze"s statement, who has publicized a letter from the UK. Chichinadze confirms that he has received a letter from Great Britain, which deals with the "suspicious fraudulent activity" related to Bank of Georgia.According to him, the letter confirms that the shareholders of the Bank of Georgia possess an asset which the BGO group is not informed about and the dispute against Rustavi nitrogen will create problems for the bank.
In the UK the dispute was between the Bank of Georgia and Roman Pipia, who owned Rustavi nitrogen.
Bank of Georgia says that these allegations are absurd.According to them, there is no threat to the bank because Roman Pipia stopped the trial case in 2018.
