The regional organization of "Civic Movement" was founded in Telavi today. The office will serve to involvement of citizens in different activities and will increase civic awareness.

The head of the organization- Aleko Elisashvili attended the presentation. According to him, locals should be actively involved in solving common problems in municipalities.

" The aim of " Civic Movement " is to destroy and break down the Soviet stereotype in our minds that we are small men, small women, we are not responsible for anything and somewhere else Bidzina the Great , or Stalin the Great will solve everything , because no one is able to solve anything instead of us, "Aleko Elisashvili said.

Civil activist -Nino Gogolashvili will head the Kakheti organization.Nino Gogolashvili explains that the "Civil Movement" will work on unresolved local issues.
